Giving Away $50,000 to a Single Mom

I went to Detroit with a plan to meet Chris Brown and surprise a single mom and her daughter with over $10,000, a new car, and the chance to meet him backstage after his concert.

But this story is about more than what I gave, it’s about everything that almost stopped it from happening. The plans changed, obstacles kept coming up, and until the very last moments, I wasn't sure it would come together.

In the end, it did. And what followed was a moment none of us will forget, a reminder of what faith, timing, and kindness can do when they all align.
